He was born in Larissa. He studied sculpture at the Athens School of Fine Arts (1972-1977) with Professor Yiannis Pappas, also in the painting workshop of Nikos Nikolaou. He continued his studies at the école des Beaux-Arts, in Paris (1977-1979). He worked with sculptor Praxiteles Tzanoulinos on the preservation of the sculptures at pediments of the Academy of Athens. Designed the Prize for the Orpheus Award of the Greek-Los Angeles Film Fighter (LAGFF). He has presented his work in solo exhibitions (Gallery 7, Hall Art Exhibition, Artists) and in many group artistic events (Athens, Thessaloniki, Larissa, Ermoupolis). His works are in public places (in the Metro of Athens – in collaboration with the sculptor Theodora Voutsina- in Larissa, Chania), as well as in private collections (Thanasis Michailidis Collection, Efiemtzoglou, Municipal Art Gallery of Larissa).
